Description
 The Strathclyde Business School is one of less than 1% of schools in the world with all of the internationally recognized accreditations: AMBA (Association of MBA’s), AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, USA) and EQUIS (The European Quality Improvement System- European Foundation for Management Development) accreditation. These awards recognize the quality of the Strathclyde MBA.

The Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) course at the University of Strathclyde, running in Oman by the College of Banking and Financial Studies is globally recognized. The University is named “University of the Years 2012 & 2019” by the Times Higher Education Awards. The University is named by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide “Scottish University of the Year 2020”.

Strathclyde EMBA (This Programme) ranked 85th among Executive MBAs offered internationally as per December 2023 FT Ranking for Executive MBA. University of Strathclyde is multi awards winner.

Executive MBA Course & Partners

The College of Banking and Financial Studies is responsible for promoting the Strathclyde EMBA in the Oman, handling enquiries, providing information and processing applications. To maintain high standards of consistency throughout the world, all admissions’ decisions are made by University of Strathclyde.


The College of Banking and Financial Studies provides administrative services as well as a focal point and centre for holding tutorials & intensive seminars . Strathclyde School of Business provides teaching materials and teaching sessions with Strathclyde Faculty. All assessment is the responsibility of Strathclyde and successful participants will be awarded a University of Strathclyde EMBA.

Flexibility is foremost and delivery is provided in a variety of ways:
  • Structure- Online ( Synchronous / asynchronous) followed by
  • Face to face teaching (intensive seminar- monthly weekend) by Strathclyde academic staff visiting CBFS
  • Regular local counseling support at the CBFS (weekly).
  • A flipped approach –Students are required to engage fully with the online content prior to the Intensive seminar
  • All course material and E-books are provided by Strathclyde Business School
Entry Requirements
  • First Degree or Diploma
  • IELTS: 6.0 or TOFEL:550 scores are required
  • Degree Holders: Minimum of 3 years Managerial Level Work experience
  • Diploma Holders: Minimum of 6 years Managerial Level Work experience
  • Minimum age of 25

As per the rules and regulations of The Ministry of higher Education, students applying for Postgraduate Programmes should comply with the requirements of Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation to peruse their higher Studies. Therefore, applicants should ensure providing us the following documents (to be uploaded in submitted application) :

 
For Degree Holders
  • Authentic copy of degree ( to be attested from relevant bodies)
  • Equivalence Letter from Academic Equivalence Dept. at Ministry of Higher Education Research and Innovation, if your degree is not obtained from Sultanate of Oman
  • Authentic copy of transcript
  • Copy of third secondary certificate (Equivalence letter to be sought from Ministry of Education if the same is not obtained from Sultanate of Oman)
  • Scanned copy of valid ID card and Passport
  • Work Experience statement / work experience letters from current / previous employer proving years of experience and job titles ( candidate will advised on requested details)
Please note the following:
-If the obtained degree from any educational institutions abroad, it should be verified and attested by Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation . An Equivalence Letter should be provided from Academic Equivalence Dept at Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
For Academic Diploma Holders:

  • Work Experience statement / work experience letters from current / previous employer proving years of experience and job titles ( candidate will advised on requested details).
  • Authentic copy of academic diploma ( to be attested from relevant bodies).Equivalence Letter from Academic Equivalence Dept. at Ministry of Higher Education Research and Innovation, if your Academic Diploma is not obtained from Sultanate of Oman
  • Authentic copy of transcript (to be attested from relevant bodies)
  • Authentic copy of full transcript (to be attested from relevant bodies)
  • Copy of third secondary certificate (Equivalence letter to be sought from Ministry of Education if the same is not obtained from Sultanate of Oman)
  • Scanned copy of valid ID card and Passport
  • Copy of short courses (minimum 4 short courses)

Programme Tuition Fees- 10% Discount Schemes (Individuals or Corporate) :
  1. Individual Discounts – 10% Discount Schemes:
  • A.Discount Scheme 1 ( Group Discount ) : 10% discount is offered out of total EMBA Tuition Fees to every three friends / relatives/ colleagues joining the programme in the same intake. Total EMBA Tuition Fees after discount is OMR 8,595.
  • •B.Discount Scheme 2 ( Advance Fees Settlement - Year 1) : 10% discount is offered in the case of advance fees settlement of Year 1 tuition fees upfront (Year 1 tuition fees: OMR 4775 to be settled up front). Total EMBA Tuition Fees after discount is OMR 9,072.500.
  1. 2) Corporate Discounts - 10% Discount Schemes:
  • •C.Discount Scheme 1 ( Group Discount ) : 10% discount is offered out of total EMBA Tuition Fees to every three employees joining the programme in the same intake or in two consecutive intakes . Total EMBA Tuition Fees after discount is OMR 8,595 .
