ABOUT DIPLOMA IN INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING (DIP IFR)

The Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) provides qualified accountants or graduates who have relevant country specific qualifications or work experience with an up to date and relevant conversion course.
The Diploma provides practical and detailed knowledge of the key international financial reporting standards and how they are interpreted and applied.

ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY

The prerequisite knowledge for DipIFR can either come from a country specific professional qualification, from possessing a relevant degree and two years’ accounting experience, or by having three years’ fulltime relevant accounting experience, supported by an employer’s covering letter.

DURATION

 

A minimum of six months to complete a single examination of three hours duration.

HOW TO REGISTER

The registration can also be made on-line, through the College website, www.cbfs.edu.om and “Register Online” menu. The registration can also be made in person at the College registration office from 9 am to 2 pm, Sunday’s to Thursday’s.

COURSE COMMENCEMENT
  • February diet (admissions open from January)
  • August diet (admissions open from July)
COURSE DELIVERY PLAN

The classes will be conducted for 14 weeks of lecture with 6 hours per week. Total hours allocated for the entire program is 84 contact hours taught by well experienced and qualified team of experts professionally qualified in ACCA, CIMA, MBA etc. All classes are conducted in the evenings after office hours after 4 pm.

FEES PAYABLE TO CBFS

One-time registration fee (if not a student of CBFS) – RO 50
Tuition fee’s – RO 325 (for CBFS students) and RO 350 (for non-CBFS students). Note: The fee does not include any VAT and all fees payable to ACCA.
