Description

The CMA, offered by “IMA”, the Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business is a globally respected accounting certification that builds credibility, enhances business acumen, and prepares professionals for leadership positions. Earning this certification opens the door to opportunity, professional recognition, and a broader understanding of the areas in management accounting and finance and its application.
Certified management accountants are experts at explaining the “Why” behind the numbers, not just the “What”.

ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY

Students who completed bachelor’s program in any qualification can register for CMA qualification.

2 Levels – one Year

HOW TO REGISTER

The registration can also be made on-line, through the College website, www.cbfs.edu.om and “Register Online” menu. The registration can also be made in person at the College registration office from 9 am to 2 pm, Sundays to Thursday’s.

COURSE COMMENCEMENT
  • February diet (admissions open from January)
  • August diet (admissions open from July)
COURSE DELIVERY PLAN
  • Part 1 – 120 hours of directed teaching; 8 hours per week of 2-hours sessions each
  • Part 2 – 110 hours of directed teaching; 8 hours per week of 2-hours sessions each.

All classes are scheduled in the evening commencing at 4 pm for the convenience of working professionals.

FEES PAYABLE TO CBFS
  • One-time registration fee of RO 50 for non-CBFS students.
  • Tuition fees per level.

The certification is two parts with two exams covering 12 competencies in all.

CMA Part 1 - Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics: By completing Part 1, you will gain a deep understanding of financial analysis techniques and be capable of optimizing performance within organizations.
