ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

FOR CERTIFICATE LEVEL ENTRY

  • High School Diploma, Associate Degree, GCE, A-Level or their equivalent
  • Experience can be in any of the following: Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Audit/Assessment/Disciplines, Compliance, External Audit, Internal Control

 

ASSESSMENT

Computerized objective test and computerized integrated case studies

The CIA Examination:
Pathway 1: Regular Candidates for the CIA certification must complete the following three examination parts:

  • Part 1 – Essentials of Internal Auditing (2.5 hours – 125 questions)
  • Part 2 – Practice of Internal Auditing (2 hours – 100 multiple-choice)
  • Part 3 – Business Knowledge for Internal Auditing (2 hours – 100 multiple-choice).

Pathway 2: Challenge Examination

Applicable only to active CPA or CA holders from one of the qualified professional accounting bodies.
OMR 250* for 40-hour CIA Challenge Examination Preparation Course.
